Tuesday Nights In Lent

St. Mary Magdalene will continue our annual tradition of sharing a simple soup and salad supper each Tuesday evening during Lent.

Our Lenten time together will focus on fellowship and a simple shared meal.

Most importantly, I encourage everyone to participate in the Paschal Triduum services of Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and the Easter Vigil. Participation in this most holy obligation will allow parishioners to gain a fuller and deeper understanding of the glory which culminates in the celebration of the Resurrection which is Easter Sunday.

A huge thank you to all who helped to prepare for the mass at St. Andrew's. All who helped with logistics, transported, served, ushered, setup, took down and cleaned.

A&O Unity Shirt

Members of A&O are selling St Mary Magdalene shirts for $12 each at all services.  These shirts are for everyone.  They are intended to unite all of us, whichever service we attend, whichever group we belong to.  We hope to make a small profit that can be used to fund the various missions and outreach work that A&O supports.

Acolyte Festival

Acolytes are the Torch Bearers and the Crucifer who process behind the Verger and flank the Gospel book during the Gospel reading. A Server completes the team and that person holds the Gospel book, and assists in preparing the Altar table at the Eucharist.

This year's acolyte festival will be on April 7, 2018 at St. Martin's Episcopal Church, Pompano Beach.

The festival begins at 8:30 am and is a great way to meet acolytes from all over the diocese.
There is a signup sheet in the Sacristy.

Outreach: St Laurence Chapel

St Mary Magdalene has a long relationship with St Laurence Chapel and Shelter. The shelter has recently expanded its mission to giving overnight accommodation to its clients thus increasing their needs. A&O is attempting to meet some of these needs by collecting a specific item each month. There is a basket in the narthex for your donations.

March's A & O St Laurence collection is sneakers, socks and sandals - both men's and women's.

New toiletries are always needed
